I adore nautical themes and decided to design a dress that is such. I used to own a pair of what seemed like a sailor's pair of shorts with a bib in the middle. I guess this influenced how this beautiful dress turned out to be. Seersucker stripes simply spell preppy and vintage.

Feels like you are indulging in a glass of chilly pink lemonade for that hot Summer. This trapeze cut shift dress is made out of pink vintage batik (wax) printed cotton. I made the sailor's collar with a scallop edging to compliment the beautiful daisies on the fabric. Comes fulling lined with soft TC cotton lining (cream coloured). I thought this feels like a dress that Audrey (Hepburn) will wear in Breakfast in Tiffany's. The right accessory to wear with this green trapeze dress will be a lovely pearl necklace and black ballet pumps. Trimmed with matching (shocking) pink binding on the neckline as well as inside the armhole.
